During the rule of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), protests, opposition, and political and social crises arose, the examination of which provides practical insights in the fields of management and governance. The governance of the Commander of the Faithful, despite initial widespread allegiance, quickly faced foundational protests rooted in worldliness, longstanding rancor, tribal disputes, and injustice. Crisis management, the intelligent and ethical approach of Imam (peace be upon him) towards opposition and protests, distinguishes this era. This research, using a library-based method and content analysis approach, aims to examine the way Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) dealt with opponents and protesters, and to propose appropriate solutions centered on the teachings of Nahj al-Balaghah . The research findings indicate that Imam Ali (AS) addressed opposition not through suppression and blind violence, but by upholding Islamic principles, Alawi ethics, and political prudence. He offered strategies to manage crises, respond to doubts, promote social reform, strengthen the legitimacy of the government, and even reform opponents. Imam embodied a complete model of politics based on rights, patience, dialogue, seriousness in implementing justice, and respect for the rights of opponents in confronting the public dissent and protests of that time, which can serve as a practical model today for governance based on justice and ethics.
