This study has attempted to analyze the personality traits and the religious convictions of the Isfahan's social entrepreneurs, as the causes of social entrepreneurship and to determine the concordance of these characteristics and beliefs with those which are mentioned in Nahj-al balagha. The impacts of personality traits and religious convictions on personal and social outcomes of the Isfahan's social entrepreneurs were examined in a major and five minor hypotheses. The population of the study is consisted of 150 social entrepreneurs of the city of Isfahan. A self-made questionnaire which its content and construct validity and reliability were confirmed by using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, was used to collect the data. The sample size was determined 103 based on Morgan's table, sampling was random and data were analyzed using partial least squares method. The results of this study proved that the social entrepreneurs of the city of Isfahan have the personality traits and religious convictions which were mentioned in Nahj-al balagha. Furthermore, the results which the Isfahan's social entrepreneurs obtain from their entrepreneurial actions are the same as those which are mentioned by Nahj-al balagha. The results obtained from the analysis of the hypotheses indicate that personality traits and religious convictions have positive and significant effects on personal and social outcomes of the social entrepreneurship.
